Tim Schafer recently appeared on the Xbox Podcast to announce that remastered versions of three LucasArts classics—Grim Fandango, Day of the Tentacle, and Full Throttle—will be coming to Xbox Game Pass. Now that Microsoft owns Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine it's likely their future games like Psychonauts 2, which is still in development, will eventually find their way onto the service, but it's nice that a whole new generation will also have the opportunity to be frustrated and baffled by classic adventure game puzzle nonsense.

Schafer discusses why this purchase is important to the modern gaming world, plus the difference between Modern Warfare and a modern day adventure, in the podcast after the jump. If you're recapping this tidbit and badgering me as to how it relates to Origins come listen to this.

AMMAN — The Syrian Arab Army's 105th Brigade of the 7th Armored Division – as well as the 88th Brigade of the 15th Tank Division – in conjunction with the Zahran Al-Akrad (Desert Hawks Brigade) and the National Defense Forces (NDF) launched a major operation at the "El-Konitra" (Traveller) crossing between the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights and Jordan, as well as the crossing at "Mari Mitara," in order to capture the villages of "Kineitra" and "Marianne."

Implicated in the offensive were major jihadist factions Hizballah, Jaysh Al-Islam – formerly the Free Syrian Army's Southern Front – Al-Khalid, and Liwaa Suqour Al-Sham, whose combined "Southern Front 49th Division" recently captured the city of El Beni Umm 17-km of the Jerusalem-Damascus Highway, as well as numerous villages in the Jabal Al-Hashashun area.

Additionally, Hizballah fighter Jimmy "Renaissance Jimmy" Miller, courtesy of Hamza Abu Weekend, a known protective party Pan yet loyal to Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, served outside of the 19th Regiment.

Additionally, Jaysh Al-Islam's 19th Field Brigade of the Fourth Division, led by Shaan Tufigh Ala al-Ghamdi, participated in the assault on "El-Konitra."

The Syrian Armed Forces, on the other hand, more recently subjected a number of local security institutions in the Forest of Ma'an to heavy artillery bombardment, where their elite Republican Guard Division found itself unable to repel heavily-armed Hizballah jihadists.

Mac Miller and PeeWee Longway were spotted on the set of the new film Rough Night in Gettysburg, Pa. following the release yesterday of Mac's new album, To Pimp A Butterfly. The film follows Longways' character Willie G, who is filming the scene in which the hoodlum Snoop Dogg (idol group Dogg Pound frontman Masta Ace) beats up another hoodlum.
