Remember back in September when Behaviour Interactive announced that Dead by Daylight would be getting a graphical facelift? Well, it seems that the Dead by Daylight update 2. 04 has arrived that will bring a new look to the game and faster loading times, the latter of which includes the multiplayer's much anticipated Chapter 4.3 news.

Likely the most talked about addition in the 2.04 update is the introduction of new graphics options, which includes "fast" which auto-levels the character's body and "glow" for better designs (yes, it makes for more visual flash). Additionally, it is being touted that this new chapter will open up several gameplay sections developers didn't have room for in the previous iteration, such as one round that will be longer than 40 minutes and another that will be as long as 20 hours. Read more below.

Additionally, Dead by Daylight 2016 will also feature the new characters Adam and Mia. Every survivor at the end of Chapter 3 must take action to defend themselves against the 1v1 match against Adam and Mia, Willam and Sidney, and Kasumi and Erica. If you're wondering why you shouldn't switch between in-art characters from 1v1 to matchmaking, they're invalidated as an in-game matchmaker used their names.

Only the once and second commit was commented on by community de-facto creator, kit x of the core team, but anyways. Looks like fans of the game will have to wait just a little bit longer until the horror game gets a PC release, as Behaviour Interactive just released the following message to the community:

Hello Everyone! Sadly, we are removing the Early Access build for our Xbox One version due to new Steam store availability for that version. At this time, the only PC builds currently available in Early Access for the Xbox One version are our Steam build, available here and featuring a pre-order bonus (Size Matters). We are not announcing the Steam version for a very important reason! Thanks, Behaviour if you need to contact me, it's mumgum. Thank you for your patience!

Until then, hopefully we hear from someone in Senior Designer Lloyd Goodil that tells us when the final version of the game will be released as we shouldn't have to wait long for the review one. Stay tuned to TechRaptor for updates along the way.
