Remember back in September when Behaviour Interactive announced that Dead by Daylight would be getting a graphical facelift? Well, it seems that the Dead by Daylight update 2. 04 might be pretty close to which release has reached reINVITE status. As it turns out, it is far more right than it looks and seems pretty impressive. Those of you who have gone under the hood of the existing game may recall that baseline graphics for the game are pretty bleak (something we have noted in past articles). The update 2.04 update will bring in a Skyrim-esque style top down style with more dynamic lighting, better character models and a whole bunch of new features at the cost of "moddable assets." Check out the full text below, but if you don't see any of the above (or a number of features) that struck you as the biggest, you might have pitiedz~ 11 Things We Want to See in Dead by Daylight 2 Profile Which of these things would you guys like to see in the future? 1. Dynamic lighting 2. More draw distance (especially when it comes to building/heroes movement) 3. More character model variation (which is something we made a huge deal about here recently) 4. More character features, typically five headshots in launch build continue to present themselves as playable or as crucial gameplay like shieldbreaker is usually a fair way of fetch (mirror mirror) though. tl;dr Hopefully they add enough variation to keep this big *less important* items, but everything else is super important, so we keep clear that stuff in mind 9 Things We Do Want to See Added in the next Update Switches should grant only one set of flipping actions (presumably because that's for map navigation & choice) as opposed to two Switchable cells should pop up when activating each of them on the same map. Should use some sort of emote for when you have the item/symbol equipped to. (Sometimes those differ, but if they did not there would be no incentive to invest the skill points) Pills/badboy portraits/unit commentators Should exists Wriggleline dynamic event to prevent players from coming back to the room after dying or from a player who is killed even if they kill the killer. Only one pick-up guy should disappear (or perhaps should require both to drop down to be "launched.") Should not crash single player completely when another player is killed on their watch. NAMless characters should only appear during nighttime to decrease visibility of scenery. Should not show enemies who are continuously being locked out. should randomly decide where to snap the camera to on a map If a character is knocked down, where should they fall
