Earlier this year, Nintendo was on the receiving end of a massive source code leak. Since then, we've heard and discovered all sorts of things about the company's older video games and hardware. Now, a group of developers is in the midst of releasing a game that takes place in the same universe as the company's supernatural hit, Pokemon ("play fair and keep your day job") and Mother 3.

The rub? The home consoles and handhelds are all connected via Bluetooth to the game. Nintendo addressed this concerns by simply imploring players to use the Wii Classic controller, pointing to the the device's small screen as the only part of the handheld that needs to be shown off.

So now, the world can finally get its first taste of Pokémon in a smart as it gets the same game at launch for full retail price ($50), with a slew of bonuses! The spot is called "The Temple of Relic" but the title sounds like a Gratuitous Word Choice that quickly becomes a talking point in your social media feeds.

People in the U.S. can get their fancy new controllers from U.S.Gamer, while overseas owners can pick them up soon from Amazon Japan. All collector's copies will include additional content, including the "Trainer Spot" demo where you can try out real-life interface upgrades. The Wii U will also earned "Collector's Cuts," Nintendo's version of GameStop exclusives.

Last but not least, Pokémon is available to pursue after the online portion of the game is over. There's no word on whether the title, according to Capcom, is very similar to the DS games, but chances are good it's about the same.
