The Mille Miglia 2020 Race Edition in bead-blasted DLC-treated stainless steel Chopard
Promoted as “the most beautiful race in the world,” the Mille Miglia is one of the most luxurious classic and vintage car rallies. Since 1988, Chopard has served as principal partner and official timekeeper of the race. It uses a Swiss made chronograph movement designed in-house by Dauphin Clermont-Forget and are built with resources of 60 artisans and 50 mechanics from Les Sables du Roi. Chopard manages and teams the official "Team "Chopard" for football, rugby and shooting ("Chopard" for the mass market since 1984). Chopard custom-made Mille Miglia watches are on display in more than 30 museums and then the owner receives it as a trophy.
The Mille Miglia 2020 Race edition distinguishes with its stop tourbillon mechanism for traditional high-prestige sports watches paired with a caliber L16. Following a spectacular event in November 2010 is a limited edition universal design Chopard Mille Miglia 2020 with stop tourbillon. The expansive form of the stop tourbillon chronograph mechanism with 10 fully reversible positions appears with nine-times power reserve, rose silver appliqués, and hand-finished 22-carat gold case. The Tourbillon's movement consists of a semi-movement with stopwatch function, the function of the bezel and rotor is completely adjustable and can display minute data and the date in 20-hour format. This stop-watch mechanism is distinguished by a minute photo at 12 positions and a bevel wheel at 3 forward positions.
