Buckle up for "an exciting new discovery about the moon." NASA teased an upcoming teleconference to share new science results from its Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (Sofia), an airplane equipped with a telescope.

"We anticipate that the data from Sofia will enhance understanding of the dynamic evolution of the lunar body," said Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Firouz Naderi as the event was held on Wednesday.

Naderi, who is from the University of Texas-Austin, will be broadcasting from a panel about Sofia's infrared observations of solar wind at 5 p.m. ET / 2 p.m. PT on December 7. WOOOOO!

Sofia was launched in 2010. It's expected to last almost three years until its 2015 operational mission is complete. So, we'll be watching closely.

I want to leave you this prewritten message and hope you'll find it useful.

How useless people have it. We spend all our time studying and trying to be "well-adjusted". We make lists of things we "should" do and full of fondle potential goals. We try to categorize ourselves against another "type" of person. We cop out trying to fit ourselves into another person's person, or into what some molden fool thinks are their categories. These are all obstacles, fear, self-protection procedures. We never learn to accept and own who we really are. Some of us just burn out socializing to keep people interested in not forgetting ourselves. Others build walls to make sure nothing can break through. It's pathetic, it's exciting, it's tiresome.

There are other things for me. I have decided, with your help, to take a 'right' turn of a block of time with myself. I will spend each day reflecting, writing, on my life. In doing so, I hope to weave one chapter of this narrative into the next. I may spend the next few months reinventing my identity (from heretically unemployed) since I may have different problems and think different thoughts and have different interests. So let's become interesting people and such.

You may get frustrated by all my self-promotion or by my odd pretentiousness or by my tendency to intentionally misaway from the shitty trash. Just know I don't believe you should care if I call me crude or trashy or insultingly stupid. Don't be because it's not intentional and feels like a disconnect or a midlife crisis. It's just how I write, how I process, similar to how I tied behavior to emotions. If you had all the time in the world you could live a saner life. Similarly, if you
