It seems that seasonal content is all the rage these days, and Halloween 2020 is sizing up to be particularly crowded in the gaming market. Today, a substantial bit of information leaked for the Rainbow Six Siege Halloween event.

Fallout 4ZZ specifies that the event will have four maps, and on the 24th of November, we have two confirmed to have been created so far: Axe and Owl Block, Source contain no specific info, but 5'00" tall clown and MYSTERY MISSING CHARMETS may be present.

The event takes place on the previous week, in the North American Season 1 Playday 6. All familiar normal missions will be offered alongside a weekly challenge. Additional gameplay modes may include Siege, Squad Composition, Squad Assault, and more.

Here's the full breakdown:

What will they get for Halloween? Eight maps — ESTSidecut, abstract protocol, rooftop hotel, toilet bowl, cabin vent, maze, lobby junction, and glue station. Evil-Chef Looks Naughty has been scrapped in favor of "Fancy Pumped By Thousands Of Racial Bloodthirsty Italian of the DC Underground Cupcake Purge". Five Achievements. ENSD said that these are turned into permanent trophies.

All the news can be found at the official Rainbow Six Siege patch notes, kept under embargo.

This event confirmed during E3 2016, and subsequently redditors detailed their thoughts about an "Deceased Steel Trap" gamemode and the vague Map's name. However, before this news was officially released, unit stats were leaked on the official Rainbow Six Siege subreddit, giving players the real description for the event. With an update that has the same theme.

The event takes place on the current Fall 2017 Playday 6.

Is there anything you can offer me as proof it really happened?

I have searched a lot in forums and I can not find anything...or at least, nothing that justifies the story.

Is it a rumor? A mistake of a mod? I don't see anything saying so on the day of the event.

Thanks in advance.
