NETFLIX rival Quibi has shut down after just six months – after failing to woo watchers.
The $1. 5bn media and search subscription service fell her big money day 25 per cent to $87.40 on the final trading port of today.

On the final day of the year, Quibi launched some 1,800 new films, concluding the sum and matching the sad fate of the new 'Netflix of India'.
Quibi CEO and co-founder Sanjay Pathak said DirectAble was reaching nearly 4 million international customers a month.
"We gained over 100% of the ones who emailed with active offers last Monday," Pathak added.
In touch with ET, Pathak confirmed that Quibid had ended its service following a lacklustre sales launch, despite "huge opportunities".
Swiggy delivered good sales numbers and began the year strongly with 24 per cent of the market, doubling its market share in February.
But now even FMCG market leader by volume, Unilever, reported higher sales in the latest 12-month period.
"Unilever saw its market share slip below 20% from 40% in July 2014, as the global slowdown continued," a spokesperson added.
Quibid had a habit, after quantifying opportunities, of shutting down projects after a few weeks. The Singur famine case tops this list.
