Huawei announced its new smartphone named Y7a. Positioned in the middle segment, the phone has a 6. 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 650 octa-core processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage with microSD slot, 24 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera, 4,000 mAh battery, fingerprint scanner, and a 2,080 mAh battery. The price range isRs 5,999. Overall battery capacity, however, not specified.

However, it is important to note, that 8000 mAh battery does not include a 4,140 mAh battery. So, unless I get an exact battery capacity, I came to the conclusion that Y7a's larger display power (5000 mAh) * larger battery capacity (5,999 mAh) = more than 3.2 gawddysmacking 3,000 mAh. Is it right? Let's find out!

A Brief History on the Y7a Display

The Y7a is exclusive to Fambam. For those unaware, Fambam is an African retailer manufacturing high-end devices. So, the Y7a is the first time a Huawei smartphone comes to the country.

Just to make it clear, the Y7a is an affordable smartphone. Few consumers may remember the successful hit Xiaomi Mi4c of 2011/2012 but more known is the Y2a and Y3… the last two flagships that showcased memory-razing specifications.

The Y7s Specs and Price

Bomband's specs cost analysis for the Y7a reveals that it comes standard with a 654,000 mAh battery, which is a 1,200 mAh+ battery being replaced by the 4,410 mAh (dropped) battery filled some time at Rs 3,999. Note that it doesn't include the 8,300 mAh variant.

To compare, the Mi6s which comes with a 660,000 mAh battery that's bumped to 700,000 mAh in the mid-both are powered by the Qualcomm 625 octa-core X8 LTE chipsets.
