Pokemon Sword and Shield's Isle of Armor DLC arrived back in June, and now their second expansion is almost here. The Crown Tundra, the second part of Sword and Shield's Expansion Pass, releases today, October 22, introducing another wealth of new content to the games, including a new area to explore, a bunch of new and returning Pokemon to catch, and more. Like its predecessor, the Crown Tundra will also feature a Ship or Wooden Lifeboat, which are used to travel around the continent and back when needed.

Details on Isle of Armor DLC

The Isle of Armors is not new territory for Pokemon titles, like Pokemon Black and Pokemon White. Just like in its predecessors, you'll discover areas full of wild Pokemon, that can evolve when you fight the right battles. But the battles don't get you any EXP or experience, they just help you evolve the 'mons. To evolve them, you'll need to be near a Key Stones, a type of treasure that has been rediscovered on the island. They're scattered in new treasure chests throughout the map as well.

King Snorlax lacking any bones history

The world of Tyranitar is fascinatingly familiar and exciting at the same time. Both it, and its second evolutions are iconic absences from Pokemon history, long banished by Tentacruel or Machamp. They'll also bring alongside them a few fairies, shrink reflections of Kimono girls and Salovaient Carolyns. The three are expertly supported by an RPG-like plot of corrupted monarchs and evil pokemon villains twisting the lives of many. Another Archie managees to show in Pokemon Tyranitar works during the main story, too.
