Today is all about Crown Tundra in the world of Pokémon GO. The new official expansion comes to Pokémon Sword & Shield today, debuting Galarian versions of the Generation One trio of Legendary Birds. They're sure to give rise to some delicious battles—and they do, in-game. There are three Galarags that you can hatch and capture, each with its own unique Pokémon. Let's get into the nitty gritty.

Amon

Protecting yourself

This is typically a battle that stems from someone defending their territory. This dweller has a lot of HP but is very frail. He should attempt to level up quickly, making sure he's at a good level to launch a counterattack. Add in any damage-dealing hazards and you'll take care of him.

In the side-view with the huge dragon, this is a tough foe to handle. This Pokémon chooses to retreat to the ground at a distance, avoiding your big, sloppy dog-style attacks. Instead, it stabs towards you.

It's often best to pit two Pokémon up-close for an easy approach, while you should pummel this Pokémon from a distance. It can only run so far before requiring some serious assistance.

Turtle Hermitaur

This Pokémon can intimidate with the ability to roll at a massive 63 mph, causing serious damage in 1.6 seconds. With a mighty shell too, this Pokémon has a strong double-edge build. While you might not want to be too conclusive when battling with turtles, we like the idea of wrestling this Pokémon from behind. Grab the fishes and try to get them both caught off guard.

Queen Muzi's Pokémon have two Dilettante Galarangns respectively. It mimics the rocky climb of Princess Meera as it can continuously retreat using Pon Pon. When your Pokémon have enough physical damage they charge in for a quick victory. Go big or go home!
