BigBox VR's highly anticipated virtual reality battle royale game, Population: One, is available today on all platforms except PlayStation VR. This could be one of the biggest VR games of the year.

Population: One, created by Oculus VR, pits a single player against up to 4! Stills result from an Oculus Quest 2 exclusive gameplay demo of City of Strangers. If you are unfamiliar, Oculus Quest 2 is a massive replayability experience along Unity engine.

So, here's the deal: You and up to 4 friends and family will be able to fight it out in 3v3v3v3v3 with combo attacks being timed and satisfying. And if you or your guests are not so savvy, you'll be able to access a one-hour, unlockable livestream chat during the match, featuring daily prompts from the game's team for beginner tips and tidbits.

"Just like most VR games, Population: One is a fresh take on the visceral experience of battling it out in a desperate battle for survival where powerful skills are the only weapon you have," said Oculus VR.

Population: One launches on Oct. 01, 2016 10AM PDT, with pre-order availability on launch day Atlus, EA, and Microsoft will begin redemption for consumers in mid-October.
