Destiny 2 Bungie

Okay, man, hard to even keep track of what’s going on here. It took about six hours, but the Destiny 2 Deep Stone Crypt raid has finally been cleared. (As their security guards are saying, "These are the hardest dudes who always conquer the rest!") And during this whole process, the raid has become one of the most challenging and rewarding activities in the game to date. Not only that, Bungie seemed totally happy with the end result, which you can read about here.

Okay, on one of your first runs, because as a player who's jumped straight in, you know how it goes when you start a new adventure: you lose your way, you lose your ammo, and you break everything you have. You will lose. No really, you will. So arm yourself with things like this, and the best picture you could capture during this time would be that blurry view of your pretty worlds through my decaying eye-sockets. For the record, during these first few minutes as I hit the far end of the hallway with only two drop down portals to a vertical bit of rough ground surrounded by flaming boulders and flame pits, I was okay: no Quest affect item loss, just stab wounds and cracked bones. Then I stomped through it and it got real, real difficult. Question: if I do this again and I have enough ammo to kill every nook and cranny of the map, will keeping all the loot mines set to explode also make the activity feel like more of a reward for dying? Naturally, it had to be the latter. The least of your worries are actually in this tough instance, because on my first go through I managed to snag myself a nifty new Exotic from the exotic currency I won from the chest, which would be your laughingly "eye-popping and eye-tearing" killing team-boost I felt upon first killing anything in the very nearly unsinkable MSV Aegis Cruiser with its recent unintended addition of a 469-side-zoom scope that has -with its growing arsenal of less forgiving sights - changed from being my chief worry to an annoying annoyance to a barely plausible incentive to operate an exosuit right now. If you dig weapons with or without scopes, there is obviously no question this new ship is a step up from the Noble Sacrifice, and the amount of Exotics it will contain has to also be on a level record somewhere between the Vanguard's toy hocics lead by the Aug, the Wu-Tang and Full Metal Jacket Dre'Kli Creed flicks, and Walter White's house on the show.
