Fortnite is no stranger to crossovers with other franchises, and the next one has--as is often the case--already leaked. With Season 5 underway, it looks as if a character from a major PlayStation franchise will be showing his face in the battle royale game in the near future: God of War's Kratos.

Tyler Mueller of Very Pillow Talk attempted to pull a clever bit in order to reveal other character faces that are spotted on lots of mice as you explore Fortnite. The source clearly got lucky with the image.

Yep, there's Kratos at the front of this screenshot--as you can see, he's wearing an open collar and feels like he's ready for battle. It looks like Kratos poses with another player somewhere there.

Other playable characters and more are highlighted as you move from one tile to the next of the map. For example, there's a human-like character riding a horse, as well as two bikers who are immediately recognizable as Van Halen. There's also a bunch of caterpillars and there you have it! Why not?

The proof is in the pudding, apparently! Kratos will be joined by his fellow melee goodness--including Akeno, Corrupted Sonya, and the bear in armor--all in the flesh for loads of sessions in the new eFruit Season.

Mueller doesn't offer much that he hasn't done before. If you think that teaser image skiniing is unbelievably clever, wait till the puzzles turn up with all the boxes on the floor and the wildlife scaling the walls. Kratos will surely find himself on the Short Subject One flying fear again in difficult situations. Are you ready for "Stranger"? If Williams, Ridden & Burned did it right, Van Halen fans will be ready for "Don't Look Now."
