Xiaomi is rumoured to launch a new Redmi smartphone in India. Dubbed ‘Redmi 9 Power’, this phone is said to be the Redmi Note 9 4G that was recently launched in China. We have also expected the Redmi Note 9 being branded Xiaomi Redmi 1S since Q2.

Another rumoured handset is the Redmi 7 in India , which has 64GB but with an extra 32GB of faster Samsung TF expansion form the Xiaomi Mi Max, albeit in black.

There have been several leaks about the Redmi Power also. In the end of January reports of two variants of the Xiaomi Redmi 9 Power. The 64GB and the 128GB version said to be called Redmi 9 Power Plus. The latter will pack a heavier battery.

Interestingly it also is alleged that Xiaomi is contemplating launching M9 Plus smartphone in India, which is also rumoured to be inscribed 2 GB RAM.

As said earlier theM9 Plus is rumoured to have 64GB of storage. Interestingly the 14nm Snapdragon 625 has been rumored to be part of the project too. We have also heard of the development of Ultimate Camera module for this device as well.

Xiaomi Redmi features a curved frame with a fingerprint scanner on the back. This rumored variant is said to pack a 5.2" LPDDR4X RAM and 3GB of RAM. The 3160 x 1080 max resolution display is rumored to be covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

As for camera, the rear camera would be 18 MP on the Power version and 20 MP on the Plus one. Sri Anand adds thatand the screen resolution would be more than 10 million pixels.
