There's been a lot of talk about the potential of a Mass Effect Trilogy remaster over the past few months, and now some customers have seemingly been able to pre-order it at major UK retailer GAME.

A few days ago, an image leaked online appearing to show a list of upcoming release dates for games, including the Mass Effect Trilogy remaster under the name of 'N7'. Today, the first order confirmation was made available via an Electronic Arts UK store page on the EA Knowledgebase. You can see the product information for the N7 Trilogy below:

"And the first new Star Wars games from EA are revealed: We're pleased to announce today that upon the release of Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ on March 17, 2012, the intimate Star Wars universe can be inhabited once again with Mass Effect™ Trilogy."

That information isn't completely clear at this point, but given the games are under the GameStop Office we can probably assume it's the only Mass Effect Trilogy you'll be able to buy straight up at GameStop, no matter where you buy the game. Otherwise the official Gamespot version is the best place to get the new games to kick things off.

If you want to catch up on too much of the latest Mass Effect news, though, here are 10 completely new details we've revealed about the game (which is coming to Xbox 360 and PC ahead of its PlayStation 3 and Wii U debut):

The single-player adventure will lead Shepard on a dash across the Milky Way in a bid to catch the Reapers and save humanity.

Characters such as Ryder and party member Tali will appear more than once.

Dark Horse Comics are working on a reinterpretation of the story, featuring audio from cast members. An announcement was made on the blog for the sale of a comic inspired one of the key memories in Shepard's life. The legend grew further recently when Brian Horton wrote an interview for Wired about the Reapers and on the series.

There will indeed be rewards for completing missions across all three titles.

As gamers, we've loved video games set after movies such as Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (released in 2008) or The Dark Knight (released in 1989) that zig in narrative time. In that way, Mass Effect Franchise Executive Producer Casey Hudson says Mass Effect is set 39 years after the likes of Firefly and Mass Effect 2 blends back and forth in the Darrew Galaxy with the Milky Way.

During her exhaustive flitting across the galaxy, the galaxy's brightest minds, scientists, warriors, and doctors make contact to confront the threat only to be in turn threatened by the Reapers.

The gameplay, as you'd expect, isn't quite as action intensive as Star Wars while still containing the shooter mechanics and other elements recognizable from the series.
