It has a narrowly-pointed plastic scraper end perfect for raking up hair from the base then pulling it all the way off the brush. Plus two separate bristles sections (they're stiff for effectiveness, but won't damage the pins even on your pricier brushes): one narrow row designed for scrubbing off any lingering dust and gunk stuck at the base and sides of a row of your hairbrush's bristles, and one wider triangular section for scrubbing the sides and handle of your brush, if needed.

#50 Shampoo. Best for: Hot Pots and Alcohol-based Musts. My fave brush is a BeautyBlender Shine Brush, 1) A lot of my products do really well here (CeraVe, The Body Shop, which I pretty much only own one of, but when it is, it is pretty perfect), 2) I'll still be able to use makeup and skin care there, and 3) I love the prestige Bath & Body Works FA Armor Ceramide shaving soap, the one I use in my Go Groom Parlor soap bar. When I found a vulcanized silicone-molded bar underneath a Costain scrub brush on my hand, it was that kind of discovery. I really like the shape of the bristles for the rich, full, somewhat-soapy lather I like from shaving soaps, and the softness of the silicone provides a great glide. I've actually tried getting a brush with silicone, but it didn't work out because my melon is really small and the brush was really thick.

#51 Sea Salt Shatter Shaving Brush, 3.5mm Bristles, .5"Luse, $27 Amazon Best eyebrow brush with a superb balance of soft, regulated, 50g bristles and a small flat end in a milled aluminum handle.

#52 Swiss-made Point A Shaving Brush, 3.5mm EuroBrushes &c http://www.brushesample.com. I've only owned one brush, and a Point A is pretty much the one, with the only improvement: It's higher quality, with better steel than my original 3.5mm BS in Rio Rosa and thicker, wider teeth. Plus slightly slick shank, releasing 74g more product than my BS, but not much smaller in length.

#53 Pendemonium™ Vario-Brush, 3.5mm EuroBrushes &c This brush is a must possess for Europe's FormulaWA underground ladies because of it's really very cool Duo-Cherry handles. This brush has a very flexible bristled brush head which is even softer than the CAS Italy double edge mechogurl. The bit is triple hard, as is the head. The handle is insane loose, but in the right hands it's perfect. I usually have the Pendemonium on hand for chaos shaves, but some of my favorites are
