Watchmen WB

I am not really sure what to make of this recent teaser art from BossLogic, which is a poster for “INJUSTIC3” aka Injustice 3, a game that many believe will be revealed at DC Fandome.

BossLogic is known for making high quality fan art (in addition to his many professional projects), but he tags NetherRealm’s Ed Boon in the tweet, the mind behind Mortal Kombat and Injustice, who is indeed attending the DC Fandome event later in August. Considering the fact that the old Justice League characters might have some fancy, powerful weapons, this could very well be a green light for Marvel and DC to reveal some Hulkbuster-esque abridged version of the Question that looks completely badass.

Regardless, we can't wait to see the villains, the generals, and the people from the DC movie universe with less planning or concern to protect the secrecy of the superhero recognition identity.

The Calgary Stampeders moved a step closer to making their final roster pushes Thursday by presenting Sheldon Day with a franchise record eight-player contract extension.

CFL.ca first reported the news Wednesday night and the Western Hockey League leader will earn an average of $900,000 a year with the within just a few more days.

"Little did we know it would be this big," Day told reporters outside of Stampeders headquarters. "That's pretty epic how that happened.

"It felt pretty exciting, very surreal boom. For this to come out of nowhere. I knew I was being recognized for what I've brought to the team but not knew I was being recognized in front of (the) whole Stampeders organization. It just feels amazing."

The new deal comes just five days after Jahvil Operation traded him to Calgary paired with avid returning linebacker Khalif Mitchell to help the Stampeders get just one victory all season.

"It felt good. It felt like a friendship was blossoming," Day said. "I was very glad the old friend came back. It was almost like that emotion was lost."

Plaquemine native Day, 28, will count $750,000 against the cap this season. He's coming off a career-best 13 games with three sacks in 2012 and is one of the few burly offensive players left in the league.

Add all that up with a proven track record like the one Day has had the last three seasons and the nine-year CFL pro gambler said, "It's work I have to do by myself. ... It's hard. For anybody to see the effort I put into coming back to show that I've got what it takes for (being) successful in this league.

"You want to be here and enjoy it but this is not as fun as you thought it would be. You grow very strong here so you take care of the business and build that relationship with the administration everything you need to do to be a free agent after this season."
