Legendary goalkeeper Petr Cech has been confirmed as the second new icon for FIFA 21 ahead of a full reveal from EA SPORTS.

Each and every, as the hype builds for the next FIFA title, fans are desperate to get details. There's unabashed passion behind the furore entering its final hours and people want to find out their favourite player's first name.

Or chess moves.

Petr Cech is the king of the chess move.

People have dedicated lives to figuring out which line of move the Arsenal keeper will make in in the big reveal. From angles to words to try and explain the move. How it compares to a turn of infamous Ronnie Whelan. It's Kanye West's move, if you will, except with Miesha Tate rather than Kanye's own uncle.

We all want to know. But unfortunately, fewer details have been revealed than the time football managers get the Mandzukic deal from Roma. More grandstanding than actually factual.

Make of that what you will.

In the meantime, here's a look at the first five people confirmed as icons:

Jimmy Hill

Now known as the world's best trivia quizmaster, Jimmy Hill is the man behind the iconic FIFA 10 questions recently revealed, 'What's Clint Eastwood's favourite football club?' But that requires you guys are able to read and write in foreign languages. Hill, he of John Lennon records, has been secretly translating his answer, having spoken to FIFA offices. English has proven difficult for Hill, as you can see hopingBlatter provide his own answer may be beyond him.

Sam Sparkes

Sparkes, designer of PGA Tour title Lael – is known for creating some of Fifa's cover ideas, from the Football Club World Cup logo and the Sunflower – to the Ballon D'Or trophy and the iconic model in the stadium that FIFA released. As such, it's safe to say Jamaica knew his name years ago.

Mervyn Leakes

Instantly recognisable as the character in the known and loved boyband One Direction, Mervyn Leakes scored us several precocious goals on FIFA 12. Though a vividly dishevelled player, he also attempted to start his own football team and win football matches to show the world football was no where near as dangerous as One Direction fans thought. Perhaps in advance of his real career in football, a friend of Leakes asked EA about his new football video game and was able to get him into the game. Since then he has built something of a stir around football management, kicking off his own school football league in Nigeria with 40,000 students.
