LEGO just announced a new record of 35 submissions by fan creation submissions to be considered for the second 2020 review, the highest ever amount since the inception of the programme for a single review period. The first review earlier this year had 26 submissions, making it a total of 61 sets now in the pipeline of options for LEGO to decide what creations would be made into official LEGO sets. Detailed of which ones, LEGO said that:
7 sets involved clubs, 21 included roleplay
7 sets were parts of clever and crafty fan-built kits
16 sets aimed as kits and concepts
All Aboard Becoming an ISS Space Station is conceived as part of LEGO Ideas, on which fans submit ideas for how to build, design or just say something using LEGO. The LEGO Ideas section of the official LEGO website has a video showing how it's made, in English.
DC Comics fans will be pretty familiar with DC's character Wonder Woman, with a DC Comics set already planned, this one from Dragon Legends into the Academy of Young Justice training grounds.
Also predicted for the second review is no doubt Blade Runner 2049 VR. There's no guarantees though Mini anticipatesit's in the second quarter. Dale delivers:
Only thing we have to do now is to build it and so far we have successfully gotten it to do everything with explosions of every kind, but even when walking around the spaceship will bring hard-to-explain joy to our hearts. So to all of you fans who think and have personally enjoyed VR for this year, 2019 is about to become even better than Hyper Hat in Roswell.
Again, order is needed to get your sets into the final nominees list for the LEGO Ideas 2020 review, which is open until January 15th.
