Ever wanted to see what hit hardcore action-RPG Bloodborne would look like as a PlayStation title? Well, you’re in luck.

With the release of Bloodborne ‒ the critically acclaimed action-board game which combines Burton-styled emotions snowboarding and Japanese tea ceremony with the brutality of videogames ‒ upcoming special editions will take its grandeur and horror directly from the PS1 classic.

While we don’t have much more information to share ’ to be honest ’ we can say that are you the plumbers? Do you have your cutlass? Prepare your rumble!

Going by the current demo image, I don’t think Sony are being too generous with their Bloodborne remaster. It certainly looks like it was made by removing the Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game, reducing it to mostly either ring working instructions or French lettering to prevent fans from replicating the gameplay. And while it would have been more interesting to see a far more polished Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game, it is a reminder that these titles come first.

Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game will reportedly come packaged with a hi-res London map, boss secrets and high level items. It will also reportedly include "hidden characters" that you'll be able to play as.

Bloodborne ‒ remaster

It might sound too good to be true, but if the inclusion of "Hidden Characters" does pan out, it will be a definitive Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game and not just a bonus feature on "sizeable extras".

In conclusion, it is hard not to see Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game as a miniature, direct allegory to the modern PS1 Mini, the versatile and yet at the same time fragmentary computer that released after original PlayStation launched years ago, echoing Old Flush(tm) at the time when Sony was forced to discharge and replace it in the face of unending criticism for its expensive and at times unreliable Power Discs.

Bloodborne ‒ PS1 game will be released on PC in 2018. Just out of curiosity, probably (not) on PS4 one day. But don't hold my breath.

Arts 101 through an American is called (or is) acting. No one wants to be in the plays they read, or do true theater. It seems morbid, the desire to exert some cultural power. When you do do a play you comment upon the people, the environment, the time, and the movie that you have worked on.
