It's already been more than a week since Twitter began its journey in the Game Boy classic Pokémon Red.
In case you missed it, users on this social media platform have been playing the original Game Boy title inside the avatar of Gameloft Montreal programmer Constantin Liétard's Twitter profile (@screenshakes). They've done so by setting trainers' statuses to reflect events below the game's title.
The most noteworthy example to date made about Misty is the question: "Just Defeated The Water-Type Gym Leader Misty In Pokémon Red". Directed at the @just_defeat_the_water twitter account in response to a tweet by Dissect briefly questioning its accuracy:
Indeed, it's true and has been reported in Pokémon Red as well as since, which is why you'll understand why it makes for enticing news when 10,000 users finish it:

Before you go interpreting this as a marketing initiative for the Battle Frontier in Pokémon Yellow, it should be noted that you can access it, Battle Cafe and trade file content completely free.
