Activision has confirmed two new weapons will be coming to Call of Duty: Mobile in the upcoming season. Today, the company unveiled a teaser for one of these guns.

The in-game teaser introduces the WildSpear Property. It looks to be a mounted on a bolt action, and the trailer points out that this weapon will be included in some free 4v4 Invasion mode content. Over on the Japanese website, it's drawn as the "Peacekeeper".

The second of two new weapons for Season 1 is a rumors of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. While it's no real confirmation whatsoever, I'm choosing to believe it here. The rep's drawing of the weapon is a nice, simple design, with a futuristic revolver back-mounted on a 1911 receiver. It pumps out blazing pistol fire and the BFG everywhere it goes.

The teaser was viewed back on the Official Community Forum by owners of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. It doesn't point to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered yet, but it indicates that it's not far off yet. That says a lot since we still don't know how Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's Autumn Sale will affect the formal, gaming-related iteration of the franchise. In a post, one crestfallen operator explained to me that the "Last Call for Christmas" sales are coming to a final close. In other words, it's said that Infinity Ward won't talk about the title until E3 next month.

Our Take

Uneventful is often slighter, scaled down PC versions of multiplayer titles cost more than the consoles versions, and perhaps that's what will happen with Call of Duty: Mobile. But perhaps at least some of that disparity and cost is marketing. As much as I want to see Call of Duty: Mobile in action, I'm concerned by their recent trailer. That's better than their ineffective IO teaser, more studio friendly than the cobbled-together challenges you'll find at the Call of Duty Center. I do wonder if any of them have gone over-the-top with the accents and you have to wonder where the money goes until your expenses are covered by no-shows.

If you love Los Angeles and the Dodgers, it's hard to become a Dodger fan. First of all, you need to love the law. If you believe the Dodgers acted the way they did after the season, your hopes descend quick.

Back in October, Shane Victorino had just signed his contract with the Tigers. Now Victorino is a free agent, with the Cardinals, Nationals and Padres all interested in a big bat. It seems, at least under most circumstances,
