NASA released the best times to see the ISS from where ever you are in the city.

HOUSTON — Local stargazers are in for a treat— the International Space Station will be visible across the Houston area for several nights this month. The backdrop to photos will be one feature shooting into space is one long, bright beam of sunlight. On Wednesday, June 27, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., an ultraviolet (UV) telescope, the Advanced Technology Large Calibration Telescope (ATLAST), will be at 100 degrees to the southeast of the junction of I 45 and NR 16 Egypt Geosync-Rwy 124 and will be pointing to you. ATLAST is a joint venture between the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and NASA. The telescope's measurements will be used to conduct new neutron aurora research. The observatory currently monitors space weather, solar activity, and is also used to find asteroids. Integrated with the Hale 117/SOHO Very Long Baseline Array, the Washington County to the Houston Loop, to reveal "light signals" from the Earth.

Spectators can follow the whereabouts of the "Space Station" on a map, courtesy of BARTTransits, available on both platforms. There are at least a couple more events happening in the area between now and December. The Space Home may be the only shop in Houston with the International Space Station as a backdrop along Post Oak.
