In Australia, there's up to a 7 percent bump in the seizure rate of cannabis when it's legalized.

That's according to a new Australian study published in the Kellogg journal controlling seizures, go CIA society's British news agency.

Despite the dramatic increase in access to cannabis for medical purposes, the study's authors say they strongly suggest that medical experts regulate the drug before legalization.

Room for improvement

Australian pediatrician DOCHEMAN ELDON LUNDY, who published the study in the International Journal of Drug Policy, says "there are still questions about exactly what provision of the use of cannabis is best for a child, whether more has to be done to protect against that use."
