Cyberpunk 2077 developer CD Projekt Red has released official modding tools for the dystopian RPG, letting players create their own custom content.
Since launch there have been many third-party mods for Cyberpunk 2077, including one that allowed you to play the game (badly) in third-person.
Well, the developer has released a new authentication script that lets you change their subtitles so you get a good, HD look — oh and cats are now playable.
The official Cyberpunk 2077 documentation gets started with a tutorial titled "Setting up pirate subtitles." Taking up roughly one page, there's an answer to "Which subtitles do you want to play in Cyberpunk 2077?" and a "Start Cyberpunk 2077" section called "Clicking native game". The most interesting/opinionated bit is a screencap of Tom Chick transiting the transit station — "High Contrast" comes up, followed by "Marketing Video".
There are hints of resources here, and links to Cat-based resources such as translation information, localizations supported, and MMOs that have worked with Cyberpunk 2077.
