Apple’s hardware team is getting its biggest shakeup in nearly a decade, as Dan Riccio — who served as the company’s senior vice president of hardware engineering since 2012 — transitions to “a new role” at the company. He’ll be replaced as Apple’s head hardware engineer by John Ternus, who led the hardware team designing the iPhone 12 and 12 Pro, in addition to working on Apple’s M1 chips. A current Apple’s vice president of engineering, who was not identified in the Apple Release Notes, will also leave the company, and John Osterloh, rumored to be Apple’s chief of hardware, is on health leave.

Riccio will oversee the 60 or so engineers who work on Apple’s iPhone 8 and 8 Plus devices. Both the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are set to be officially unveiled on September 7 with a special event on September 12.

Former iOS team's leader 'transitions to Bournemouth' Apple engineer Dan Riccio has left Apple, per Apple Release Notes. Riccio, who previously worked at Qualcomm, now joins a pool of engineers that will include a former HTC hardware designer, as well as Ruslan Gershenson, who worked on the first Apple Watch. Srinivas Somasekar, who served as Apple’s director of system software software engineering before being named Motorola administrator, is also leaving Apple, according to the release notes. Seth Ladd, currently working as a mobile analyst at Gartner, also left Apple for undisclosed reasons.

So for Apple, it should be a busy one, especially considering its different businesses. A group that's known for craftsmanship is being redirected to devices that often get introduced in a few short days. These months aren't known for ample stability, so it would appear Apple needs to take precautions to make sure these changes don't cause any issues later on.

Riccio has been involved in Apple since 2007, and has spent a decade working on the iPhone and iPad. Prior to Apple, he'd been with LG Electronics, where he was responsible for " The Mobile Display Assembly for Nexus 4." It appears Riccio is expected to be lead the hardware team for iPhone iPhone technology for 2017. In addition to his new role at Apple, Riccio will also continue working on iPod variety set-top boxes.

"Aberrant Thoughts" was divided into three chapters. Chapter One took place in the docks.[2] Chapter Two continued the plot as the team headed to the local haunted house and attacked it.[2] Chapter Three took place on Dauntless Predator's Island,[3][4] Metitch Islands, and outside of Rapture.[3] It is most notably notable for the WW1 Web Book page that guides the player through it.[10]
