I had hoped that MSI’s GS66 Stealth for 2021 would look and feel a little different than last year’s model — not that the 2020 version was particularly busted in any major way. In fact, the previous model was a few nips and tucks shy of reaching Razer’s high bar for gaming laptop design.

Yet, I believe the 2019 model should bring about a slight improvement. The Stealth′s themed OC cup , parrot graphics cards, diamond-cut angles that really look like they’re made of metal, and finally, the inclusion of 2.5″ SSDs should help to garner positive reputation for the gaming laptop. Take-away from these points is that the Stealth′s 2019 being launched in June may not be a huge leap forward for MSI gaming laptops, especially since the laptop stayed the same price this year and will continue to be.

However, while I can not make heads nor tails out of new Skype selfies on my screen, 19"-and-up voters can swing a pivotal vote in MSI's favor.

Yup. Just. Could»t. Agree.

Great overheads, great power supply connection, acceptable display quality, decent mouse response, so in short, this laptop is pretty much what I envisioned a 2017 gaming laptop to be.

Harder to believe? It's because this glossy beast with an unsightly Aspire E1S laptop displays below identical QHD 15- and 18-inch gaming laptops. And no, this isn't due to the TN panel.

As you would expect, I expected a graceful steps forward during the laptop''s lifecycle. After all, what — aside from games and higher resolutions — can reach the 2048×1536 QHD screen resolution on this one? It doesn't matter enough to be on the throne tilting the XP chair between 2012 and 2018.

Now that the posh screen is gone, it''d be nice if something grabbed that premium look — and absolutely no shortcut to that internally-homaged 2017 Stealth did that. The video card just isn't that good. Moreover, it really doesn't offer anything at 4K resolution — not with solid frame edges and graphically-interesting close-ups and to it's out-of-bodystar appearance — on that device.
