Sony has announced the PS5 and PS4 games that will be free on PS Plus in February.
PlayStation Plus subscribers with active subscriptions will be able to grab Destruction AllStars, Control: Ultimate Edition, and Concrete Genie for free next month.
Destruction AllStars takes out most of the plastics figures of the PlayStation 2 era in performing spectacular feats of destruction! Players attack each other as a hero or villain using dozens of weapons and Brawler Maneuvers, with additional elements like dual bouncing, crusher, bounding and more.
The game is a free-to-play title compatible with PlayStation TV, meaning you can play on your TV without an always online PlayStation 4. Once you've opened your PlayStation Store there, you can simply port it over – if you didn't back online already. Discs of Destruction AllStars can also be downloaded straight from your PS4 in order to keep local saves intact if you happen to decide to get rid of the subscription completely; no need to worry about re-downloading and sticking the discs in the PS1 Classics collection.
Control: Ultimate Edition sees players controlling a bulky giant who has The Ultimate Combo, which, once invoked by pressing the right shoulder button to charge it, makes him or her copy all the attacks of everyone in the battle. As fun as it does to see the match tacked up on YouTube, we prefer to keep things under control with a more lean strategy playing on a controller.
OC ReMix brings the DJ spin songs, arcade beats and game controllers together for serious automotive play! OC ReMix has thousands of themes, 101 difficulty levels and 19 stations.
Finally, Concrete Genie features developers 'Cho,' who have released numerous PSP titles, who have made a PS Vita title titled Sky Goggles, and Sony Online Entertainment's Director of NetherRealm from SMITE. These three are apparently "filled with on-going updates, such as gold awards, power-ups and "snaking options," which is apparently how the players can become invisible.
