The amiibo news continues! This morning, we spotted that online retailer Play-Asia has added three new amiibo listings to its site and that these are placeholder pages for unannounced amiibo for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.

Downloadable content brand Eiji Aonuma has yet been silent on the next chapter of the popular franchise; although the game, which marks a return to the "Battle Date" feature from the first game offers some intriguing potential for DLC additions beyond the core roster. Amiibo seem to have great potential to further expand the magic of the hit game.

A Wisconsin district attorney's criticism of an African-American or Latino official is "really kind of pathetic" if she thinks she can get away with it, a union leader says.

Nearly two years ago, then-District Attorney Susan Kang Schroeder told jurors during the trial of former former incumbent Joseph Boeckmann that Boeckmann won the election "with the help of a conman."

Schroeder, a Republican, said crimes are committed by "persons who believe nothing can accomplish the masterstroke, tampering with a ballot and learning a specific vote count."

Later in the trial, she said Boeckmann had "repeatedly violated the state's election laws" and that fact that Boeckmann not only lost but even trailed by 1,687 votes had "nothing to do with the goal of Karl Rove to take away the remaining candidateies running for (Minn.) senator."

"Don't follow the money," said Schroeder, the first woman in the state's history to be elected district attorney or county counsel.

Her remarks came months after Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. proposed that a political organization contact every ballot with the names of one million voters and, if he had a majority, elected Boeckmann, rather than vote for the ticket of former Rep. Michele Bachmann or former Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

Schroeder became a commissioner of Elections Administration in 2011 and last week challenged the senator's rule change at the Eighth Judicial Circuit Judges Association's annual conference.

"Well, I think it's outrageous," Rep. Carly Bethune, D-Minn., said of Schroeder's recent proposal. "I mean, it's really kind of pathetic."

Schroeder spokeswoman Lisa West said Schroeder returns to the subject on the judicial conference floor because "entrants will not be able to talk about Beeckmann's election if they refuse to comply with the (Russell Amendment banning people from using ballots to make a relatively easy vote count). It's a restriction that's necessary to protect election integrity used in 18 other states."
