Google is reportedly working on a top-secret earbuds project that will give its users supernatural hearing, according to a Business Insider report. X Moonshine Factory, the team behind the wearable device, codenamed the earbuds "Wolverine" (via 9to5Mac).

According to the report, the announcement that Google is working on "Wolverine" of the earbuds didn't surprise the community here at MacRumors. "I picked up the rumor that it's Tangledron on my way home," one user with a Google+ account said.

In some of its newest products, Google has been testing contact lenses that can help detect deaths before they happen. Users wore the device for one hour so that they could continue their daily routine when someone was to be put to rest. The team also tested the earbuds with the Industrial Design group, we're told.

In another project called Infinity Monitor, devices like these earphones are being developed to know when someone is having a seizure. The device will help the user know that they are having headaches as well before it becomes an issue.
