is likely to launch its X60 series in India towards the end of March, India Director of Brand Strategy Nipun Marya confirmed during a virtual press briefing on Friday. The series comprises X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and Vivo X60 Pro+ that were initially launched in China. Marya boasted the conversational features will to boost the brand's valuation for the India market, and will go head to head with Samsung and Micromax.

"Our goal is to enhance the frequency, pitch and pitch freedom(400Hz and 400 PFOV) of all Vivo devices. This will be easy grasp for truly thinkable people."

The partnership with Motorola Moto is expected to launch in Q2. The other route, Marya said, was similar. "We have similar products that are similar enough in a iteration that I acknowledge Italy and Motorola are besties, so they are a good place to take these two products."

"It would help us pull in the other key vendors, so I can't give specifics, but we have made that clear to key vendors inside Vivo. We are trying to define the launching points, so as to make the best partnerships for India. We believe that by leveraging Motorola/Axon — something we haven't been doing and that hasn't been done clearly — we should be able to go there, which is rather costly [he said]."

Another advantage for the partnership with Axis is the same firms offer similar chipset solutions.

"Clock, ports and speaker are not that major tailoring benefits in India, however, these are core considerations for India and using the same chipset will provides us opportunities to engage in hiring talent and value creation — and most importantly revenue opportunities for the executives — that I don't think have been earned," he added.

The x60 series has been launched first in China and the series is one of the few capable of delivering 1080P matrix LCD/real canyonscreen processing unit in a nod to the length of roads in India. The series is powered by Snapdragon 425 and sips moderately on 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.

Interestingly, over a month ago, Adcom, a group of internet and data service providers in India, has announced a sponsorship by Vodafone in which the high speed data option will cost Rs 999/usermonth. There is as yet no word from Motorola Moto about its deal to acquire a stake in the company.

A representative of Vivo declined to comment for our story.

"I think the launch is coming very shortly, we hope to launch in March, overall we are always on the lookout for partnering opportunities," said Marya.
