OnePlus 9 Pro users had recently reported of some overheating issues with the smartphone when using the camera app. Now, the company has reportedly fixed the issue with the latest update that was released in India last week.

The company frequently releases security patches in India, and this time it happened to fix a bug in Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 chipset. The update has allegedly been used to fix thermal throttling issues in the Snapdragon 821, which means the phone was able to regularly cool down and never become too hot while playing games or even just simply close the shade on its back.

This takes care of one, and hopefully, two of the primary issues the OnePlus 9 Pro has faced.

Now, users should be reassured that the demonetisation drama is still very much a live issue upon all OnePlus devices in the country, including the successor to the OnePlus 5 and 3.

The following comments were published in different OnePlus forums earlier today:

"Backup all of your data before demonetisation. Customers can see there has been no change in India, but app data is unlikely to be accessible to save any blockbuster photos. Also, manufacturer has Paul Antonio's efs/phx settings as well as the CM11 source compile enables COMS 1812 upgrade (which depletes efs) something which is not a split not available."

"New OTA was introduced and when there was no updates I flashed the OTA using a tool I wrote. I made a slight change to data access settings of the phone (choose different firewall policies and restricted connections). This gives me partial access to efs dump, can enable /or deactivate efs, and give full access on select IPs. If you see a difference then it's because of a programming error. If not then Custom ROM WIPO on the phone hasn't caught up with the new update."

OnePlus 5T users may be also be in for some relief with a fix released for the battery drainage issue. The Indian users had complained about how the most glaring issue on OnePlus phones made the device very susceptible to warm or charged batteries.

Following on from the recent OnePlus 5T battery issue on OnePlus Marshmallow, an update fix was released to update the Oxygen OS method which will make the phone more stable in regard to warm or charge batteries.
