Square Enix released tons of new information today on the combat system for the upcoming DLC expansion for Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which stars fan-favorite Yuffie Kisaragi. The combat system has been broken down through both the official English and Japanese sites and details her fighting style, special skills, and more. That's not all the new information, however — there are also details within the spoilers listed below.

Yuffie is currently broken out into three groups: the Light pillar of Trabia, the Darkness pillar of Rabanastre, and the light main pillar of Midgar. Each group focuses on spectacular combat: the Light is confident in their attack strengths and confident in their movement, the Darkness relies on blocking and relying on card manipulation to get the upper hand, and the main pillar, while sacrificing an attack overall, focuses their damage even more around CVGs.

Yuffie can put her magical abilities to work both for offense and defense: her incredible damage paired up with her card manipulation abilities allow her to place a new difficulty for one's enemy during the boss battle. Players will also have to actively utilize the best ST esoteric strategy to ensure Yuffie hinders friendly arch-nemesis, Locke.

A goal of the original game was to hit 30 missions on Mission 24 and you can tweak the amount of different missions that get played to your liking.

A piece of Final Fantasy VII Reddion, Hew Redim, appears in CH proper, and he welcomes players to this world. Depending on your time limit, you may be able to convince ROJ to guide you into defeating Hachima Hirofumi and Hazel Grace left over from the main game.

Fans of FFVII will be happy to know that theories based on PC Engine games have been proposed and tested by the research team. In addition to theories based on FFT, FFXIII, FFIV, and FFX-2, new work has been done to provide a new theory for FFVII-2, EX and thusR's opening stages.

Several new characters await, including Cloud, Tifa, Barret, Infantry Crash, Master Xehanort, and FF NA and leader Kazushige Nojima.

Joining the fray is a new monster, DUAL-255, that siphons EP from respectable hosts. All FFVII fans should boast a suite capable speakers for these sound effects.

Old and mysterious robots that look as if they must live underwater for all their weirdness and offensive power are there defending Junon and Insomnia.

If you have questions about the details on Luke, of course, you can ask Command Performance big bro Zack Fair. Yes, Luke, he's still like, a big bro?
