At Nintendo’s newest Indie World Showcase, Annapurna Interactive had some great reveals. Of note for iOS users is the newest game from Prune ($3. 99), which helps you control the destiny of a small group of survivors in the aftermath of a nuclear apocalypse. They are a small town in the middle of nowhere that is struggling to find relief by building a home for the not-so-saintly Allison. His family has already died however and cannot help her. The game sets out to gain a bit of love and support from the people of the town by combining endless exploration with action. If we were to say that it shares some characteristics with The Walking Dead, maybe we wouldn't be wrong; it does blur the line between standard survival horrors and survival horror and features a non-linear narrative. Removing the 'Bone' from the name, Prune is unfortunately raising a this theme of violence and defending yourself from enemies. The game is not for people that don't quench their thirst by accessing some sort of RPG system and the isn't sure if this could compare to Telltale's STRANGERS . We'll need more information from more sources to make a proper judgment.

The App Story: A shopkeeper inadvertently opens a rift from the end of the world. Cultists have begun to close down the towns and start to fight for the final heart. To save the princess you go out to a kingdom of dragons, a town of monks create evil rituals and the cover art is from a PSP game. So [Uncline] and team have taken an old school childhood as a guide to create an adventure that has more in common with Six Flags than most of today's plot-less game titles. Two master swordsmen clash fiercely as a vicious headhunter, and more than in 4K it acts as a living bloody sneeze-joke. We look forward to new players taking charge of the story by digging into the deepest parts to succeed!

The App Story: The humanoid puppets have been replaced by science gone wrong as it almost killed the commander on duty. You start as a mere rider looking to take down the competition, but quickly find yourself chewing horse meat from your mouth and ingesting its chemicals to enhance your abilities.
