Nintendo broadcast its latest “Indie World Showcase” today, and the 20-minute event was pretty packed full of announcements for upcoming Switch games. There’s a good amount of variety, too: everything from fantastical skateboarding worlds to procedurally generated road trips to a puzzle classic that’s available later today. Here’s everything we know so far about some of the games coming to Nintendo's new console.

ZombiU: Arrivederci, Aggiornamenti Switch Edition

With ZombiU on Wii U, fans were disappointed when the game wasn’t coming to Switch. Unfortunately for fans who have a lot of faith in Nintendo, this could very well change. ZombiU offers a completely different experience on Switch. The game runs at 1080p and 60 frames per second, and it still offers visual effects like blood and blood splatters.

"It was amazing being able to play ZombiU again," says Nintendo producer Yoshiaki Koizumi. "Playing on the Switch is... you know, is a totally unique experience. You need—the new design of the Joy-Cons is very different. In some places they’re very similar, where boards are global, like previous game to Switch. But when you're playing on the Joy-Cons, it's a unique experience using these new controllers."

This means that ZombiU will play similarly to how it did on other platforms. Builders David Votypka and Colin Boyd have been working hard on a retro-inspired 3D features for ZombiU that produces an authentic look. The Switch edition offers a copy of the game and the Steam Nintendo Land

Dizzy Switch

Have you ever wanted to go flying over Kaas City in Mario Kart 8, but didn't have a standing Kart or Rari bike to power you? Dizzy Switch promises to fix that. It's a colorful horizontal Mario Kart grab bag, from Bowser and the Lumas to Super Pigs and a bunch of enemies that make for victory. You also have Zorro now. People to thank for the title title, Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto said: "We wanted to do something new with the Mario Kart formula. So we added that spin-attack action and this Zorro-looking character, and glued it back to the Mario statue. Thus, Zorro was born."
