Jeffrey Manber of the Park Forest, Illinois, Police Department was leaning against a tree and watching the Saturn V launch when Tropical Storm Cindy sent a torrential downpour down on him and his Ohio township.
The 16 inches of water reportedly ripped a hole in his roof.

And steady disposable income doesn't mean steady employment either, she pointed out.
"It doesn't get more expensive than a Miata," said Rauh, an enthusiast of all things Miata. Really.
The region has deep reservoirs of skilled labour about to start retiring; such jobs as plumbing, electricians, bricklayer, welding, welders and drafters are often available in unionized construction sectors across the province, but not in the high-paying auto sector.
Rauh called it "the human resource puzzle." She pointed out that municipalities across the province have seen their populations rise over that period, both among young people and in mature age. People who may want to retire now feel they may never reach retirement age in the resources sector, while those who currently don't consider themselves to be financially secure may feel that changing jobs and employment may lead to a loss in job security.
