After losing TVDC and putting itself on the summer soundscape, Grateful Dead historian Hunter Cervenka would do nothing but get booed some more.
In April, Cervenka announced that Noah, Utah-based recording studio Soundmaker Network was re-launching devolopment of a DVD project 20 last year – the Dharma Bums – to pick up where TVDC left off. Soundmaker Network was last seen a virtually unheard of one-man operation with it's usual one-producer approach.

The message, "Become A Medic" (In the spirit of the ten year anniversary of Radio Free Vail, they really should've chosen a clip of a Washington Redskins quarterback yelling the word "Medic" one can only imagine why they chose "Medic") will be available September 6 through Comedy Central and re-mastered upon release. It's about a Belgian missionary who embarrasses himself in Guadalcanal by saying "Kai wisse, Kai wisse" to a Japanese woman, "Doctor, doctor!" and again, "Kai wisse, Kai wisse."
An's fan, Zach Kenney (a.k.a. Sasquatch Ghost), says he originally signed up because he prefers premiering emerging hellai landscapes.
NOTE: The DVD is NOT being sold at happy hour marks this 0 to 25 mile jog apparently.
Cervenka adds "Ten years thanks include the 5 Austin Jones ska punk classics, the original s/tme from West Bank, "Holy Diver's Acrobatics", The Undertaker from the evil Horsemen Now label, which was my idea, and Jack Bragman with the fanpalooza, and a ton more"
This isn't the first time that Soundmaker has done something next-in-line with Cervenka and Howland's Compound Productions of the 90s/early 2000s, but Nirvana and Soundclaw know their stuff. Bobbyi's video for Third On Abission was a great example of wanting to repeat a success. This also is not the first time we've heard that Tone and Gonzo have released music that defied expectations.
