In the opening of the game there is a short video showing a little boy with his face peeking through some bars. Next to the boy's grinning face is a photo as an attachment. Apparently the photo was taken around that time by the boy's father, and when they sotheced the boy's mother now has the photo as her own.
There is a page of back stories for the 11 playable characters. The story of Doug Grimstone is also located on the same page.[1]

The game was released on April 25, 2016, with customers being able to pre-order during the experience of Black Friday[2] and during February 11-19 online.[3]
